About Blossom Pathway Care Foundation

In 2018, Adaeze Okonkwo — a social worker and child rights advocate — was working in Apapa, Lagos, when she encountered a group of 12 young children living under a bridge. They had been abandoned, trafficked, or had simply run away from abusive homes. That night changed her life forever.

"I couldn't sleep. I kept thinking — if not me, then who? If not now, then when?" she recalls. Within three months, she registered Blossom Pathway Care Foundation with the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria and opened the foundation's first shelter home with borrowed funds and donated furniture.

Today, BPCF operates across 47 countries, has rescued over 3,200 children, and runs comprehensive programs covering nutrition, education, healthcare, psychological rehabilitation, and vocational training. What began as one woman's act of love has grown into an international movement.

A world where every child is safe from trafficking, exploitation, and abuse, with access to quality education, nutritious food, and a nurturing environment — confident, self-sufficient individuals driven by compassion.

Mission

To rescue, rehabilitate, and reintegrate vulnerable and abused children through holistic care — providing food, medical attention, quality education, emotional support, and vocational training, both in Nigeria and globally.
